PID coefficients for smaller oven

I have a 60" x 24" x 24" oven for composite curing. It's heated by two 915 watt convection fans.

My controller is installed and preliminary soak tests show +/- 1C tracking which is great.

The issue is on the initial cold start, the system over heats by 15' C, which is too much.

I'd like to tone the PID coefficients to have less overshoot on start.

Can you suggest a set to try?

Have you run auto-tune at your target temp? If no, please try it at first.

If yes, you can probably increase P value by 40-50% and see if it works better (your P could be too strong and you need to weaken it). Or if you controller comes with OUTH (limit the max output percentage), you can reduce it as well.
