Hello,  I am new to auber and the forum but have always heard great things about the products.

I just received the wifi-wood stove thermometer and I cannot get the box to stay connected to the wifi.

I go through the motions in the instructions to reset the wifi on the pid and the auber shows up on my list of networks on my iPhone and the blue light on the pid blinks rapidly.  I select it and follow the prompts through the app.  Then when it pops up on the app it shows loading and does not show any of the temps that the box does. The blue light goes solid for about 10 seconds then starts blinking once every 2 seconds or so, indicating it's not connected.

I've repeated the process many times, re read the instructions many times and still cannot get it to work.

I've deleted the app and reinstalled it a few times.

I've reset my modem, which is dual band and still no luck. Modem is a Telus Wifi Hub made by Arcadyan.

I've also ensured location services are in for the Auber app...

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot

Please see the troubleshooting guide below.

https://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=page&id=66

Please see section 3 for slow blinking.

Please also make sure your local network permission for Auberwifi app is ON.

I googled your router and it is a cellular router. AuberWIFI app requires IPv4 internet. Please visit the following link and see if you have IPv4 address. IPv6 is not supported by Auberwifi.

https://test-ipv6.com/

Also, the model number for your WIFI controller is AW-SYL-2352. The regular SYL-2352 doesn't have wifi function.

Thanks, the test shows I have IPv4 and 6, so hopefully it will work after rebooting everything and some help from the troubleshooting guide.

Appreciate the help.

I got it to connect.  Don't know what I did different than the other 20 times I tried but it's working.

Thanks again
