I have a bradley digital smoker that came with a 500 watt element and I recently changed to a 1000 watt heat element, My WSD-1200GPH seems to take a long time to heat up to 225, what would you suggest adjusting  the parameters to for faster warm up and quicker recovery ?

It seems your current PID settings are not good enough for your smoker. You can run auto-tune again at your preferred cooking temperature. It will automatically tune the settings.

But it looks strange, because if nothing was changed on the controller end, using a larger heating element will shorten the initial heat up time. If you can find a multimeter, you can check your heater's resistance, to make sure it is indeed 1000W.
