This little advanced thing has a list of some digits to look at, buttons to push and need to remember what happens when you push them. When not brewing so often you often forget how to do it the right way and get unexpected results.

Maybe if there was a possibility with WiFi and /or Bluetooth connection and App control you could have a more user friendly interface. Eh...?
