DSPR-220 fault "PrAL"

I got my DSPR220 of out storage and had two fault messages.  The first one is described in the documentation: top line flashing "orAL" and 932 for a bad temperature sensor.  But the second fault is a mystery: the bottom line flashes PrAL along with the power setting.

Can anyone tell me what this means?  Is the controller toast as well as the temperature sensor?

Thanks

Kkane

pral and oral are the same type of error. In boiling/distilling mode, the bottom display will display the power output percenatge, the left bottom corner will display "P".

You can change your controller to mashing mode, and see if it shows oral on both line displays.

Before getting a new sensor I checked the resistance of the temperature probe and it seemed good.  Turns out the solder connection failed on sensor side of the cable.  I repaired that and got things back to normal.  Thanks for the help
