Hi All,

New to the forum  I have a 6 year old Silvia  with an Auber  PID installed by SCG.  I keep it in good shape clean but today everything has gone haywire.  I turned on machine today and upon power  up the PID just started raising and would not stop. I could hear the boiler working and felt hot to touch when I removed top of machine to inspect connections.  I shut power off and then  turned on and this time the pump engaged upon power and started pumping,  manual switch on front was off.  any advice where to start looking for the  trouble?  Is my PID shorting?

May I know which kit you had? Brew control kit, steam control kit or pre-infusion?

It looks like your SSR relay is shorted. You controller could be still good.
