I have a EZboil DSPR320 i am have trouble with the unit controlling the boil. It isn't regulating the boil effectively. The mash cycle is working effectively. When trying to use the boil function i am having issues. I am using Boil mode to control the power output, the out LED (green) is showing 100% output ( not pulsing to match percentage of out put,  but my set point it is P 50. not sure what to do.

Boiling mode in this controller has a special period called accelerated period. By default, when temperature is below 200F (bast), the output is always 100% (bout). When your reading temperature is over 200F this limit, the output is decided by your set value on bottom display. To disable this feature, you cat set a very small number as bast.

See section 7.4 on page 7 of its manual for details.

Thanks for the recommendation. I have adjusted this and no longer have a issue. Thanks
