After  going through all the programming steps for mashing I cannot go further and start the mashing  process. The upper window starts  flashing between "orAL" and "500" and the lower window is flashing between "P-1", "70" and "orAL".  This does not disappear if I turn off the power and turn on the power again and also after going through the programming step once again. Just keep on flashing the same way. I have set the temperarure to 70 for step 1. Whats wrong with the unit or me? It have worked before.

orAL is common error for Auber's controllers & PIDs. When sensor is not connected or sensor connection is bad, the controller will flash "orAL" and it will turn off all its output as protection. This issue cannot be fixed by reboot. Please check your sensor connection.

  Next time I must be more patient and read the manual first - section 10, Yes - bad connection - another cable fixed it. Thank you Kane.
