I received the unit today and plan to start my smoker conversion this evening. I have a couple questions:
1. Can the name of probe 3 be changed on the controller or in the app?
2. How many characters are available to rename the individual cook programs on the app?

1. No. You cannot change the name of probe 3 on controller nor app. If you don't use probe 3, you can hide the probe 3 on the controller display. Then the right bottom corner will display current output percentage instead. See page 9 and page 10 of its manual for details.

2. No. You cannot rename the cooking programs on the app. All six recipes are named as B1 (beef), B2, C1 (chicken), C2, F1 (fish), F2.
