Ascaso Dream espresso machine has been around for quite a few years. Now their latest version Ascaso Dream Up V3 is on the market. It not only has nice looks, but also becomes a great home espresso machine with some new improvements. To learn more about this machine, please see the review on youtube from Seattle Coffee Gear.

Unlike many other espresso machines that use boilers, the Ascaso Dream has a thermoblock that heats water on the fly. It heats up fast, however there is a big temperature variation due to brew thermostat being used. A PID kit would be a great addition to this machine.

Thanks to the effort of Daniel from Sewden, who has installed our KIT-RSRTD to his Ascaso Dream Up (V3), we now know this can be done and the result is very positive. After installing the PID kit, it can heats up to 105°C in 3 minutes and stabilize the temperature without any fluctuation. A few pictures of the machine and how to install the kit are attached.
