The best pid to use?

I'm in the process of gathering my part to build a blower system for my WSM. I have an 11 CFM 12 volt fan, AC to DC power adapter and a LM 317 voltage regulator in case I need to dial back to fan voltage to lower the CFM's

My biggest question is... What's the best pid? After reading through your items in leaning towards the 12/24 volt but not sure about rather to get the one that includes the ssr or a relay? Or do I buy one with neither and add after the pid? If I bought the 12/24 volt one could I power everything after my AC to DC adapter?

Or would it be best to go with a 120 volt pid and using a terminal block split off to the AC DC adapter for the fan while running straight 120 into the pid?

Hope this makes sense... Thank you

This is what my first thoughts were to do, but after reading more on your products I'm wondering if it wouldn't be better to go all DC and get the pid with ssr or relay. Then I could keep the AC adapted outside my box and skip the separate SSR

Correct, it will be better to use all DC parts, including DC fan, DC controller and DC SSR.

If you are looking for single PID unit, you can check SYL-1612B or SYL-2362B. You also need to use DC-trigger-DC SSR. Here are the links:

SYL-1612B: http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_ ... ucts_id=83

SYL-2362B: http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_ ... cts_id=132

5A DC SSR: http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_ ... cts_id=450

10A DC SSR: http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_ ... ducts_id=8

What does the trigger do? And where in sequence would it go?

I see you have a service charge if I need help is that the best way to go if I need help with a map?

Disregard the trigger question I missunderstood, I would like to know about a wiring guide... And I should be fine without a heat sink if I'm only running a small DC fan correct ?

Correct. If you just use a small DC SSR, heat sink is not necessary.

For wiring, you can find it in controller's manual. For example, section 8.3 in page 4 of SYL-1612B manual. http://auberins.com/images/Manual/SYL-1 ... %201.0.pdf

So does this look like a list that will work?

Or do you think the 5amp SSR will be fine? Or either one is fine?

10amp SSR

12 volt DC Fan
Already own one

Yes, your list looks good.

Well, it depends on the current rating for your blower. For 1-2A DC blower, 5A SSR is enough.
