Hi All, I have the syl 1813 which I am trying to set up for engine temp. All I get is the eeee or just 0. Out of frustration I have tried all 3 sensors, RTD/TC/VDO. I now have taken it out of the truck and have it set up on the bench using cups of boiling water for the probes. I am obviously doing something wrong! Can I test this gauge to see if it is working ok, I've noticed test procedures for other auber gauges but not this model.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

Maybe there is a short in the probe, please use multimeter to test the three spade connectors. The normal value should be:
Red and White: 108 ohms
Red and White: 108 Ohms
Red and Red: 0 Ohms

Those are all approximate values under ambient temperature.
