I would like to install a brew temperature PID controller on my 12 year old machine - Ascaso Model UNO.103

It has a commercial 325 cc single brass boiler:
    - 1200 watt 115 volt element (documentation says 1200 watts but label says 1050 watts) so better go with higher rating for safety
    - with three M4 threaded button thermostats (Brew 100°C,  Steam 140°C and a 165°C safety with manual reset)

Has anyone any thoughts if one of the Aubern's PID kits would be suitable?  I think Model KIT-RSRTD
 (http://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_ ... ucts_id=32)
might be best since it has an M4 screw mount RTD sensor but I am concerned about wiring lengths since it states they are cut to fit the Rancilio Silvia and it is a little smaller than my machine.  Is there much spare length in the wiring supplied?

Suggestions from someone with experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi
I'm willing to attempt the same transformation with my Ascaso Steel Uno.
Have you been successful with the PID controller you had identified?
